Ra'ANa
(Ra'ana is a Pushto word for "ray of light", or "hope")
Millions of children in Pakistan, instead of going to school, are found begging on the streets and doing odd jobs to help support their family. Help us support them with education, nutrition, health, and allowance.
How we started
In 2016, Professor Mahvesh and one of her students Seemab concieved the idea of helping kids on the streets. Their beginnings were humble as they simply brought a few kids together after their work and started educating them with basic knowledge. This continued to gain momentum over time and now they serve almost 70 children on a monthly basis. Many children are now going to proper schools and becoming a light of hope for all others who still need to get a chance.
